What are the requirements to start CDL training?

You must be at least 18 years old (21 for interstate driving), hold a valid Washington driver's license, and pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam. You do not need a permit before you start — we can help you obtain your Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) as part of your training.

How long does it take to get a CDL?

Our Class A CDL program is 160 hours and typically takes about 4 weeks to complete. Class B training is 80 hours (about 2 weeks), and endorsement courses are 30 hours. Actual duration depends on your schedule and progress — we work with students to find a pace that fits.

Yes! Spanish/English bilingual support is available. We want every student in the Sunnyside and Yakima Valley community to feel confident during training, regardless of their primary language.

Do you help with job placement after I graduate?

Absolutely. We maintain strong relationships with local trucking companies, agricultural employers, construction firms, and delivery services across Central Washington. Many employers reach out to us directly when they need CDL drivers, and we connect graduates with those opportunities.

What is the total cost and what payment options are available?

Class A CDL training starts at $4,000, Class B at $2,000, and endorsements at $700. We accept multiple payment methods including credit/debit cards (via Square and Stripe), Klarna (4 interest-free payments), Zelle, and Cash App. Eligible students may also qualify for tuition assistance through WorkSource, OIC, or People For People.
